God is working among His people, but His people do not walk in the same direction of His work…

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1st. Peter 4:7

It is not the same to live with the belief of the existence of an Almighty God, than to live guided by a God that operates supernaturally in a world of limitations. The difference is abysmal, although many cannot see it; to live with the belief of the existence of an Almighty God is the summary of a knowledge that highlights only attributes of a God of the past, which only serve in the present to live with the idea that one day, who knows when, the best is to come. To live guided by a God that operates supernaturally is the knowledge extracted from the daily experience of emerging from the absurdity of natural limitations with a new daily teaching that if God is with us, truly, we can do everything.

The situations that we have had to live with in recent years, I refer to crises, schisms and regional calamities, have brought to light the little knowledge we have about who God is, and what His work is in the whole world. God is breaking paradigms of knowledge of faith on which lives were built, although pious, at their bottom, unstable lives, because they failed to explain where God was when misfortune knocked on the doors of the community, when we expected production and prosperity and came in exchange for pain and suffering.

Who is God? God can be explained in many ways, all of them, according to the manifestation of the attribute of Glory with which He has made Himself known: healer, provider, guide, etc.; for me, God is the Creator, I prefer to identify Him this way because He explains my existence and gives sense to my presence on earth.

The Creator works supernaturally in favor of man not so much because it is the essence of His nature, but more because by the unfolding of His power He instructs man that the purpose of his existence on earth consists in developing and promulgating convictions of faith formed from the Revelation of His power. The Creator delights in doing ‘great’ works for man, is the methodology of His teaching,

but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 9:24

The Creator plants man in regions not only to populate them, The Creator plants man in regions to establish the knowledge he has acquired from Him; the knowledge of the Creator is established from the life of faith that the person develops for himself; every experience draws a teaching that, if man allows it, will become a conviction of faith that will help him establish knowledge of the Creator in the region.

The essence of man’s life is not his beliefs, but his convictions, it is not the same beliefs as convictions; the essence of man’s life is not what he believes, but what he ‘understands’ from the Creator, only what man understands can later explain it in a convincing way, beliefs establish dogma, convictions, understanding and life.

Understanding the Creator is vital to the very life of the man and woman of faith, and vital, of course, to the region where he or she lives; not doing so opens the door to the kingdom of darkness to be established there,

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. Matthew 13:19

The life of faith, then, is not a life of dogmas and doctrines, it is only a life of ‘understanding’ about the Will of the Creator, of His work on the region, and of the assignments delegated to each; this is the life of the Kingdom,

14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.… …24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25 and I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant,… 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mateo 25:14–30

The Creator is still working, but His people do not walk in the same direction of His work, because they have not given themselves to the task of understanding Him. The Creator raises up one ruler, and His people choose another; this happens in all fields of human experience; the Creator brings judgment upon a region because of the much evil of the place, and His people rebuke by believing that such evil comes from the devil; the Creator closes churches because, like the cursed fig tree, they do not give honor to the work they preach, and His people open them again because they believe that the Creator’s Kingdom consists in the opening of ‘churches.

And this happens in every realm of human experience, all because His people never understood the work of the Creator and where He is going, and what He seeks to establish by what He does. The Creator does not operate according to human logic, nor are the absurdity of limitations a hindrance to Him. The Creator is breaking paradigms of knowledge of faith upon which lives were built, because such knowledge is not based on understanding who He is, and what He does on the face of the earth.

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Ephesians 1:17–19

Life of faith is not a matter of religion, nor a topic of theological knowledge, it is a theme of Revelation based on the recognition of the Lordship of Jesus.
